• ‘The Contract in Successful Project Management’ conference in February 2002 in Christchurch resulted from work CAE had been doing, and continues to do, in the area of contracts and project management.
  
  The conference explored the practical issues arising from new forms of contract and innovative project management, as well as dispute resolution techniques. The goal was to equip participants with knowledge of pitfalls in project management and the tools to prevent or overcome them in their own projects.
  
  The conference was endorsed by the World Bank.
