This page offers Presentations made at an industry summit organised by The Property Council of NZ (PCNZ) and the Centre for Advanced Engineering (CAENZ), which was held 30-31 May 2007 in Auckland.This industry summit offered the opportunity for the NZ property industry to start thinking strategically and acting together to anticipate the long-run impacts of several emerging trends arising from continual pressure on industry capacity.
Bringing together national and international leaders to analyse current and future market conditions, from a range of industry perspectives, this summit was a direct response to concerns by industry leaders that the sector is not adequately prepared for the challenging times ahead.
The summit examined how project time, cost and quality performance might be affected by key resource shortages and how industry capabilities might be increased.By
bringing together a broad range of stakeholder views, and through a synthesis
of ideas and discussion Hot Market Procurement – Driving Change enabled
the industry to develop strategies and priorities for future action.
